Journal of Electronics, Control, and Intelligent Systems

Instructions for Authors

Authors are invited to submit original and high-quality manuscripts that fall within the aims and scope of the Journal of Electronics, Control, and Intelligent Systems (ELECTRIS). Manuscripts should present scientifically sound research and clearly describe the research problem, methodology, analysis, and significance of the results. ELECTRIS welcomes theoretical, experimental, computational, and applied studies that contribute to the advancement of science, engineering, and technology.

1. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the ELECTRIS online submission system at submit. The corresponding author is responsible for the submission process and for all communication with the editorial office during peer review and publication.

The corresponding author should ensure that all listed authors have reviewed and approved the manuscript and have agreed to its submission to ELECTRIS. Manuscripts must not be simultaneously submitted to or under consideration by another journal.

2. Manuscript Preparation and Formatting

Manuscripts should be prepared using the ELECTRIS single-column manuscript template. The manuscript should be written in clear academic English and organized systematically according to the nature and methodology of the study.

The general structure of a manuscript should include:

  1. Abstract
  2. Graphical Abstract, where applicable
  3. Keywords
  4. Introduction
  5. Literature Review or Background, where applicable
  6. Materials and Methods / Methodology
  7. Results
  8. Discussion
  9. Conclusions
  10. Declaration of Competing Interest
  11. Data Availability
  12. Acknowledgments, where applicable
  13. Appendix, where applicable
  14. References

The structure of the main numbered sections may be adapted to the nature of the research. Authors may use specific section titles that better represent the methodology, system, experiment, or analysis presented in the manuscript. For example, engineering and technology papers may include sections such as System Design, Mathematical Modeling, Proposed Method, Experimental Setup, Implementation, Performance Evaluation, or Results and Discussion.

Review and bibliometric studies may use sections such as Literature Review, Review Methodology, Bibliometric Analysis, Content Analysis, and Discussion where appropriate.

Subsections may be used where necessary and should follow a consistent hierarchical numbering system (e.g., 2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1).

Manuscripts should normally not exceed 30 pages, including figures, tables, appendices, and references. Authors should provide sufficient methodological, experimental, computational, or analytical information to enable the work to be properly evaluated and, where applicable, reproduced.

3. File Requirements

Authors should submit both a PDF version of the manuscript and an editable source file in Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX format.

Figures should be provided at sufficient resolution for scientific publication. All figures, tables, and equations must be numbered appropriately and cited sequentially in the manuscript.

Mathematical equations, symbols, quantities, units, and nomenclature should follow internationally recognized conventions. The International System of Units (SI) should be used wherever applicable.

Submitted files may undergo automated technical and security validation before entering the editorial process.

4. Originality and Publication Ethics

Submitted manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, and integrity of all research materials presented in their manuscripts, including experimental data, simulation results, figures, tables, calculations, citations, and supporting information.

Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate manipulation of images or data, and other forms of research misconduct are not permitted.

Authors must appropriately acknowledge the work of others and obtain permission for copyrighted materials where required. Any potential conflicts of interest and all relevant sources of research funding should be clearly disclosed.

5. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to ELECTRIS undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for the journal's aims and scope and their compliance with basic scientific and editorial requirements.

Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment will undergo double-blind peer review, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed during the review process.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on scientific and technical quality, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, relevance to applied science and technology, validity of experimental or computational results, and whether the conclusions are adequately supported by the evidence presented.

Depending on the nature of the manuscript, reviewers may also consider the appropriateness of the system design, mathematical model, experimental procedure, simulation method, validation approach, comparative analysis, and practical significance of the research.

Following peer review, an editorial decision may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.

6. Revision of Manuscripts

When revisions are requested, authors should submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed point-by-point response to the reviewers.

Each reviewer comment should be addressed clearly, and significant modifications made to the manuscript should be identified. Authors should explain how and where each requested revision has been incorporated.

If authors disagree with a reviewer comment or recommendation, they may provide a concise and scientifically supported justification. Reviewer comments should not be left unanswered.

7. References

References should be accurate, complete, and directly relevant to the research presented. Authors are responsible for verifying all bibliographic information before submission.

References should be numbered according to their order of appearance in the manuscript and cited using numerical citations, for example [1], [2], or [3–5].

Authors are encouraged to cite relevant original and primary research sources where appropriate rather than relying excessively on secondary sources. References should appropriately represent the scientific and technological context of the study.

8. Figures, Tables, Equations, and Research Data

Figures and tables should present information that directly contributes to understanding the research. Authors should avoid unnecessary duplication of identical information in figures, tables, and the main text.

Figures must be clear and legible, with appropriate labels, symbols, units, and captions. Tables should contain descriptive titles and sufficient information to be understood without excessive reference to the main text.

Equations should be presented clearly, and all variables and parameters should be defined when they first appear.

Authors should retain the original data supporting the results reported in the manuscript. Where appropriate, supporting datasets, source code, simulation parameters, experimental procedures, or other research materials are encouraged to be made available through recognized repositories.

A Data Availability Statement should describe whether and how the data supporting the findings can be accessed.

9. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Generative artificial intelligence and AI-assisted technologies cannot be listed as authors or co-authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, scientific integrity, and appropriate referencing of all content included in their manuscripts.

AI-assisted tools may be used to support language improvement or editorial preparation. However, such tools should not replace the authors' responsibility for scientific reasoning, research methodology, data analysis, interpretation of results, or conclusions.

Authors are responsible for verifying any content produced or modified using AI-assisted technologies before submission.

10. Copyright and Open Access

Articles accepted for publication in ELECTRIS are published in accordance with the journal's open-access policy, allowing research findings to be accessible to the scientific community and the public.

Authors retain responsibility for ensuring that figures, tables, photographs, datasets, or other copyrighted materials reproduced or adapted from previously published sources have the necessary permissions and proper attribution before publication.

Authors should consult the journal's Copyright and Open Access Policy for detailed information regarding copyright ownership, licensing, and permitted reuse of published articles.
