Aims & Scope
Electronics, Control, and Intelligent Systems (ELECTRIS) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality research addressing theoretical, experimental, computational, and practical developments across applied science, engineering, and technology. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, engineers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate scientific findings that contribute to the development, evaluation, and implementation of methods, models, systems, and emerging technologies.
The journal particularly encourages research that establishes a clear connection between scientific principles and their practical applications. This includes the development and validation of mathematical and computational models, experimental investigation, engineering design, system implementation, performance evaluation, optimization, and technology integration. Studies addressing real-world engineering problems and demonstrating systematic methodologies, measurable performance, and reproducible evaluation are particularly relevant to the journal.
The scope of ELECTRIS encompasses, but is not limited to:
- Electrical and electronic engineering
- Control systems, automation, robotics, and mechatronics
- Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent systems for engineering applications
- Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, and edge computing
- Sensors, instrumentation, measurement, and monitoring systems
- Signal, image, and data processing
- Communication systems, wireless networks, and information technologies
- Power electronics, electrical energy systems, renewable energy, and smart grids
- Optimization, computational intelligence, and decision-support systems
- Cyber-physical systems and digital twin technologies
- Data-driven modeling, system identification, and engineering analytics
- Intelligent transportation and smart city technologies
- Disaster monitoring, early-warning, and intelligent sensing systems
- Biomedical electronics and intelligent healthcare systems
- Emerging technologies and interdisciplinary applications in electrical and electronic engineering
The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, and well-structured case studies that provide scientifically supported contributions. Manuscripts may present new methods and technologies, improvements or extensions of existing approaches, comparative studies, experimental validation, prototype development, or practical implementation of established methods in new application environments.
ELECTRIS aims to bridge the gap between fundamental scientific knowledge and practical technological solutions. Therefore, submissions are expected to clearly describe the underlying scientific or engineering problem, the methodology employed, the experimental or analytical procedures, and the significance of the obtained results. Purely descriptive implementations without adequate scientific analysis, validation, or technical contribution are generally outside the primary scope of the journal.
